How does flapping change by hour?
Reading the Graph: When do nestlings flap in the nest the most throughout the day? How does this change as the weeks advance and the nestlings get older? Find out and see if you notice any other patterns by simplifying the graph with the interactive feature. Look for the checked boxes under “Choose What to Display,” to toggle on and off the different choices.
Notes: For each hour of the day, the height of the bars refers to the total number of times nestlings walked for that hour. The different colors refer to the three weeks of data collection (week 1 = 05/21 – 05/28, week 2 = 05/29 – 06/05, week 3 = 06/06 – 06/13). Also, keep in mind that some hours of the day and weeks were better covered by participants than others.
