Reading the Graph: How many minutes did participants watch and collect data for on February 17th? How does this compare to the other days during data collection? See what the sampling effort (i.e. the amount of time in which at least one participant was watching and collecting data), looked like in the visualization above for February 17th and compare it to other days. Understanding how sampling effort changed by hour and by day is important to consider when looking at the other visualizations and before conducting statistical analyses.

Notes: The maximum number of minutes that could be watched during each half-hour interval is 30 minutes, and only the daylight hours, 6:00 A.M. to 18:00 P.M. (i.e. 6:00 P.M), are displayed.
